Welcome to historic Wilson High School! Wilson High School was founded in 1866 as a Freedman's Bureau School following the American Civil War. Our school's mission from the beginning has been to develop in all students the knowledge, skills, and character to achieve personal success. At Wilson High School, we offer a wide variety of activities including a Middle Years Program and a Diploma Program as part of our International Baccalaureate World School, Advanced Placement courses, and Dual Credit classes. In the fall of 2016, Wilson High School started an Early College Program in which students will graduate high school with an Associate’s degree from Florence-Darlington Technical College and be even better prepared for the workforce or college.
Wilson High School is helping all students develop the world-class skills, life and career skills found in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing a rigorous education in safe surroundings that prepare students for a college education or the workforce. We are able to offer our diverse student body a first-class education by constantly challenging them to become better students and leaders.

If you would like to become educated on the college athletic and academic process, Matt Gray (Director of Compliance/Francis Marion University) will be here on Wednesday September 26th @ 6:30 pm to discuss NCAA Clearinghouse, academics and what colleges look for through the entire process. PSAT Test, October 10, 2018
The PSAT will be given October 10, to ALL 1st time 10th graders. Any interested 9th and 11th graders can sign up in guidance for the cost of $16.00 before September 7. Please pay Mrs. Harker first in the main office, then take your receipt to guidance to have your name added to the sign-up sheet.
ASVAB Test, October 17, 2018
The ASVAB test will be given on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the main computer lab. Interested 11th and 12th grade students should sign up in the School Counseling office.
