Florence 1 Schools Introduces New College and Career-ready Interface
Students in Florence 1 Schools have a new way to track their progress in high school and lay out their college and career goals. SchooLinks is a college and career readiness platform built for the 21st Century student. With SchooLinks, students are able to explore their interests, find what colleges and careers are the best fit for them and plan for graduation and beyond. This program is available for 9th-12th grade students in all Florence 1 High Schools and their parents. All of the SchooLinks features are designed to be user-friendly and engaging, helping students prepare for college, career and life in a way that feels relevant to them. Using virtual reality, students can even take a tour of over 500 colleges and universities without leaving home.
Using SchooLinks, high school students and parents can:
- Explore 2-year and 4-year colleges
- Learn about options for financial aid
- Find internship and volunteer opportunities
- Explore a career in a variety of military fields
- Communicate with counselors
Using SchooLinks, 12th graders will be able to:
- Track college applications and request transcripts
- Request Letters of Recommendation
Find Passion & Self - Help your child better understand their self by discovering their interests and passions, through our series of Career Interest Inventory Surveys.
Explore Careers & Colleges - Guide your child to discover, learn about, and favorite colletges and careers based on their passion and personality.
Understand Options - Browse through our extensive college and career lists to help your child expland their post secondary optons by discovering possiblitlies they did not know before.
Individualized Career & Academic Plan - Help plan courses in a guided, step-by-step process, and understand all courses needed for graduation.
Progress Tracking - Track your child's progress while also guiding them on course plans, college applications, learning plans, and more.
Stay Connected - Stay up-to-date with all of your student's progress on their college and career readiness by communicating with your counselor.
Students can login by clicking here, using your district email address and password. Then select the SchooLinks Logo.

A SchooLinks Parent Information Night will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Poynor Auditorium, 301 S Dargan Street. All parents and high school students are invited to learn more about SchooLinks.
