Happy New Year from Greenwood Elementary! 2019 promises to be a great year!

We are at our best when we work together as a community. Our motto for 2019 will be “Achieving Excellence Together”! Be on the lookout for opportunities to be involved and tips on how to support your child as he/she grows and learns.

Tip #1: Download the PowerSchool App to have 24/7 access to your child’s grades. (See our Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Heather Casey, to receive your username and password)

A couple of friendly reminders as we get back into the school routine:
•    School begins at 7:35AM each morning. Students should be in their classrooms by 7:35AM.
•    Students are expected to be at school each day school is in session and not signed out early. Students are dismissed at 2:15PM.
•    Car riders are to be dropped off in the car rider line at the rear of the school off of Canal Drive. For everyone’s safety, car riders are not to be brought to visitor/faculty parking lot.
•    Everyone is encouraged to put their child’s name on the inside of jackets, coats, sweater, hats, gloves, and lunch bags and boxes. This will help us to get lost items back to their owners.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday break and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
