I am the REACH teacher McLaurin Elementary School. I graduated from Converse College with a Bachelors in Art History and a Masters in Elementary Education. I am also certified in Gifted and Talented Education and Art Education and am highly qualified in Elementary Education. I am finishing my Plus 30 in Gifted Education and have earned almost $100,000 in grants for my students. I was the Lead Gifted and Talented teacher for six years in Spartanburg County and have been teaching in the REACH Program since 2016. My focus is on creativity and innovation in the classroom. I am a product of Florence One Schools and both my husband and I grew up in the Gifted Programs. In my free time I enjoy playing with my toddler, spending time outdoors, and painting in my She Shed. I absolutely love teaching Gifted and Talented children. They keep me on my toes everyday!
