Saani Perry, Assistant Principal at West Florence High School, has been named a finalist for the 2025 National High School Assistant Principal of the Year (NAPOY). This marks the first time a finalist has been selected from Florence 1 Schools, making his achievement even more significant.

The NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year program recognizes outstanding middle and high school assistant principals who provide high-quality learning opportunities for students and make significant contributions to the profession. As part of the selection process, Mr. Perry traveled to Washington, D.C., during the week of March 9 to participate in in-person interviews with the selection panel.
