I have been a teacher for 14 years.  I graduated from West Florence High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in education from Francis Marion University.  I began my teaching career in Darlington County School District.  I have previously taught Science and Math.  I currently teach Design and Modeling, a PLTW engineering course.  I am currently working on my Master’s Degree from University of South Carolina.  Teaching has always been a passion of mine.  It is most rewarding when former students return and tell me how much I prepared them for high school and life in general.  It gives me great joy to see them become successful and productive young citizens.  It is my hope to continue making a positive impact in the lives of my students and encouraging them to exhibit the greatness I know they possess.
