Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors of Science in Education Gifted and Talented Endorsement
Mrs. Christina Blum
I am a graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelors of Science in Middle Childhood Education, and am currently working on my masters online through UD. I have been married for 5 years in November and have a young daughter. Since graduating from college, I have lived in South Carolina teaching math or science to 7th and 8th grade students. I have worked in Newberry County and Darlington County School Districts before working in Florence 1 at Sneed and now at Moore. I love my students and seeing the growth that they make throughout a school year. In my free time, I love to read and bake, however, I am taking up golf as a way to get outside more. I am a huge sports fan! My favorite football teams are the Clemson Tigers and New Orleans Saints. I prefer college basketball over professional, and enjoy watching all types of sporting events. When I attend games, I can usually be heard in the crowd-don't be alarmed-it is positive.
Our classroom is in need of various supplies throughout the year. I keep an amazon wishlist that can be found at the link Amazon wish list. We are always in need of Lysol spray, tissues, pens, dry erase markers, hand sanitizer, stickers, and bandaids. Any support is greatly appreciated. If you like to shop early, here is the list of supplies that will be used by your student this year. Student Supply List 2020-2021 If finances are hitting your family hard due to COVID and everything else going on in the world, please let me know. I have some of these things on hand and can absolutely share without drawing any attention to the situation.
Please contact via email email@example.com for the fastest response. I encourage you to obtain ParentPortal/Powerschool access to be able to view your child's grades in all classes for all assignments at all times. Google classroom will be the primary portal for submitting work. I try to be as transparent as possible, if there is something you need, don't hesitate to ask.
