Welcome to my page.  I’m Cynthia Mueksch, but I am known as Miss M and sometimes just M.  At times, I forget that I even have a first name.

This is my fourth year teaching Essentials of Science I (Biology) for those students on the non-diploma State Credential track.  Before that, I was an Academic Coach.  I graduated from Quincy University, in Quincy, Illinois, in December 1995 with a degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities K-12. From there, I gained classroom experience by substitute teaching for 2 years.  My first teaching job was at my Alma Mater, John Carroll Catholic High School, in Birmingham, AL.  From there, I moved to South Carolina and began teaching at Darlington High School for the next 5 years.  I then taught at South Florence for 1 year and have been a West Florence Knight since 2009.  I am still as excited about teaching today as I was 20-something years ago.
