I am a native of Latta, South Carolina where I graduated from high school. I then moved to Florence, attended Francis Marion College, and graduated with a B.S. degree in education. After a few years of teaching, I went back to Francis Marion College and received my M.Ed. degree. I enjoy teaching math. I also enjoy spending time working with children of all ages. I have been very active in working with youth in different areas. I help teach the young people in my church. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working Sudoku puzzles, and love being involved in church activities.

I have a son and a daughter and a granddaughter. My granddaughter is involved in a lot of activities...and I am her driver!  All of them keep me very busy!
