Karen Kirkham is a high school mathematics teacher at West Florence High School where she is currently teaching geometry. She attended Bob Jones University and received a bachelor's degree in mathematics education and a minor in science.  She also earned a master's degree in education from Coastal Carolina in Teaching and Learning with Instructional Technology and is certified for gifted and talented and online instructional education. Her teaching career spans 32 years and includes teaching various high school math and middle school science courses.  She taught in Northern Virginia for 14 years and now teaches in Florence, South Carolina.
