I am a graduate of Clemson University. I hold a master's degree in Education-History and have coached and taught in public schools in S.C. for 41 years. I have taught a variety of social studies courses in  grades 9-12. I currently teach U.S. History at West Florence High School.

I am married (40 years) with 2 daughters(Grown and gone)and one Grandson (Xander - 3 years old). Our at home children now consist of 1 dog, 4 cats and 2 birds.

I currently serve as a varsity assistant Football coach.
