I am proud to be a Wilson High School Tiger. I love our school and our students, and I'm excited about our journey together this year!

I grew up in Rock Hill, SC. Prior to moving to Florence, I lived in Charlotte, where I taught ninth grade English for five years in nearby Fort Mill. I love life with my husband and sons, who are four, two, and three months old. Outside of class you'll find me coaching the Mock Trial team (along with Mr. Hofler) and sponsoring National Honor Society, which is open to juniors and seniors.

I was an IB student myself and commend you for challenging yourself to be a part of MYP or the honors courses at Wilson; you will be thankful for this challenge when you begin college and find yourself more prepared than most of your peers! As your English teacher, I look forward to leading you around the world and through time, exploring universal themes through literature, discussion, and writing.
