Albert Einstein, once said, "Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." I apply this philosophy in my approach to teaching. My goal is for my students to leave my class with a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. I strive to teach critical thinking skills and problem solving skills that my students can use in the classroom and in the future.
I am a graduate of University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science, Biology. I have been in education for 10 years, but also bring a unique real world perspective to teaching Biology I, Human Body Systems, Medical Intervention, and Biomedical Innovatons. With ten years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales, she offers her students insight beyond the classroom setting. Armed with the knowledge of real-world healthcare issues, a passion for teaching, and knowledge of the importance of STEM skills; she strives to prepare her students of today to be competent healthcare providers of tomorrow.
I feel honored to have the students I teach under my care and hope that I can make a positive impact in their lives and future.
