Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Nicole Sims and I look forward to meeting everyone. I am originally from Olanta, South Carolina, but spent most of my time in Florence. I graduated from West Florence High School and received my bachelors degree from the College of Charleston. I love to travel and enjoy going back to visit whenever I get a chance.

This is my 9th year in education and my first year at Moore Middle School. I am excited to join the MMS family and can't wait to see what being a lion is all about. I spent my first year teaching at Ronald E. McNair Junior High School and the next seven years at South Florence High School.

In addition to teaching in the classroom, I have done tutoring, home-based instruction, and mentoring. At my previous schools, I also co-sponsored the Drama Club and Beta Club. During the summer, I am a dance instructor for camps at Florence Little Theatre. My hobbies include crafting, reading, participating in community theatre, kayaking, attending concerts, and playing with my dogs (Mitchy & Poppy).
