Mrs. Michelle (Barr) Cummings is originally from Ohio, but attended college in Pennsylvania. She attended Slippery Rock University and received a Bachelor's of Social Studies Education in 2013. In May of 2017 she received her Masters of Education from Francis Marion University. Mrs. Cummings decided to move south after college graduation, and taught at South Florence High School from 2013-2018.  Mrs. Cummings currently teaches Government & Economics Honors as well as AP Macroeconomics & AP United States Government & Politics She is also currently an advisor for the district-wide Youth in Government group & co-advisor of the West Florence High School Student Government Association (SGA).  She is married to her husband, Andrew, who is also a teacher + wrestling coach at West Florence. Together they reside in the area with their son, Theo, and dog, Boozel.
