Teaching Experience:

I have been employed by FSD1 from Fall of 1992 until present. I teach AP Economics, Economics Honors, Economics CP, Government Honors and Government CP as well as Current Events.

As a teacher of South Florence High School, I have had the following responsibilities.

  •         Being familiar with the SC state standards for the classes taught.
  •         Developing a curriculum to meet the SC state standards.
  •         Creating a syllabus and pacing guide that corresponds to the Florence District 1 CAD.
  •         Creating notes, tests, quizzes, and student activities.
  •         Communicating with parents, administrators and fellow teachers.
  •         Assessing students learning using different learning styles.
  •         Maintaining and reporting of grades.
  •         Issuing and collecting textbooks.
  •         Identifying student weaknesses and helping them overcome those weaknesses.

  •         I have led the South Florence Baseball team to 333 wins and earned a position in the playoffs for 16 years.

Head Girls Cross-Country Coach from 1992 until 1995
