Mrs. Jeannine Franco
Jeannine Franco recevied her B.A. in Communications/Journalism from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY in 1987. After working as a newspaper editor for several years, she returned to school to earn her M.S. in Secondary Education/English at SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY. Upon completion of her degree in 1990, she taught at the Aquiinas Institute in Rochester, NY for several years before teaching at Emmaus High School in Emmaus, PA. Upon moving to Florence, SC in 1997, she began teaching at South Florence High School. Her honors include: AP English Literature certification (2000); South Florence Teacher of the Year (2009-2010); STAR Teacher of the Year (2010); and recognition as a Cognitive Coaching Training Associate. She is currently pursuing her second master's degree in English through the University of Texas at Permian Basin.
