Mrs. Jeannine Franco
I recevied my B.A. in Communications/Journalism from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY in 1987. After working as a newspaper editor for several years, I returned to school to earn my M.S. in Secondary Education/English at SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY. Upon completion of my degree in 1990, I taught at the Aquiinas Institute in Rochester, NY for several years before teaching at Emmaus High School in Emmaus, PA. Upon moving to Florence, SC in 1997, I began teaching at South Florence High School. My honors include: AP English Literature certification (2000); South Florence Teacher of the Year (2009-2010); STAR Teacher of the Year (2010); and recognition as a Cognitive Coaching Training Associate. I am currently pursuing a second master's degree in English through the University of Texas at Permian Basin.
