My name is Eric Terry, and I am in my 20th year of teaching and 16th year as a teacher at South Florence. For the first 13 years, I served as the band director. I am now in my third year as the music technology teacher. I began my career in Beaufort County, teaching at Lady’s Island Middle School, where I was named Teacher of the Year in 2006. I graduated in 2002 from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

My professional affiliations include the American School Band Directors Association (ASBDA), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the South Carolina Music Educators Association (SCMEA), and the South Carolina Band Directors Association (SCBDA).
