My name is Tamara Smith and this is my 21st year teaching at Carver Elementary.  Carver is the only school I've called home since graduating with my master's degree in 2002.  I love Carver and am proud to be a Carver Bear.

I graduated in 1994 from Radford University in Radford, VA with my bachelor of business administration degree. In 2002 I graduated from Francis Marion University with a master of arts in teaching. I am also trained and certified through The Institute of Multisensory Education in Orton Gillingham reading methodology.
