I am very proud to say that this is my 31st year teaching in Florence District One. I have taught 3K,4k and 5K. I have been National Board certified for 20 years.  I enjoy writing and have had 4 articles published by the South Carolina State Council of the International Reading Association. These articles included topics such as using technology to improve reading and writing in the early childhood classroom and literacy interventions.  I was honored to have been named Florence District One’s teacher of the year in 2008. I love my school and I am so proud to be a PYP (Primary Years Program) teacher who has the opportunity to help my children engage in learning that is meaningful to them and encourages them to develop responsibility, commitment, enthusiasm and many other positive character traits. I adore my children and I am so grateful to my wonderful parents. We could not be successful without your help!
