Mrs. Patricia Nunnally

Patricia Nunnally is a secondary special education teacher for Florence 1 Schools. She has been with the district since 2011. Patricia currently teaches students with emotional and behavioral disabilities as a part of the Clinical Day Program.  She is also beginning her third year as a South Carolina Financial Literacy Master Teacher.

Patricia is a student-centered teacher who inspires her students to look inside themselves and find the courage to take the risks necessary for academic and personal growth. She finds it incredibly rewarding and motivating to watch the changes that occur in her students once they realize they are capable of social and academic success.

Mrs. Nunnally received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ohio State University and Master of Education from Francis Marion University.

She is the 2018 South Carolina recipient of the National University Teacher Award for Inspirational Teaching, a 2020 WE Teacher Award Recipient, and is a 2022-2023 nominee for the National Life Group Life Changer of the Year Award.

Patricia resides in Florence with her husband and son.
