Hello, hello!!! My name is Sara Porter and I am one of the 6th grade ELA teachers for the 2022-2023 school year at Moore Middle. I am passionate about education and teaching in a way that makes all content accessible to every type of learner. I have always specifically had a love for literature and ELA so this position truly feels like a dream for me. I received my M.A.T. from the College of Charleston and began working at Moore in October of the 2022 school year. Prior to this, I taught 5th grade in the upstate of South Carolina. However, I am SO excited to be teaching in FSD1 as I am a Florence native.

I am aware the transition from elementary school to middle school can be difficult, but I am excited to walk along side each of my students and their families as we grow and learn together this year. Your student is loved already!
