Hey everyone! My name is Katie Morrell, and I am the Reading Recovery teacher at Brockington Elementary. This is my eighth year teaching at our school.  I previously taught 4K, 1st grade, and served as the K-2 Reading Interventionist.  I attended Coker College, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I also had the huge honor of serving as the Brockington Elementary and Florence 4 District teacher of the year in 2019.  When not at school, you will find me on our farm with my husband and our two children. I love spending time with my family, riding my horses, and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks! I am looking forward to this school year!
