3-Years Post-Secondary Teacher Certificate "A" B.Ed in Special Education, and English Master of Philosophy in Special Education

Mr. Anthony Atandigre Agamboka

Welcome to my class for the 2022-2023 school year. I am Mr. Agamboka, an International Teacher from Ghana. I teach Essentials of English I, II, and III this semester at Wilson High School. I have been teaching for 15 years in Ghana, at various levels of the Ghanaian educational system, including a Teacher Training Institution. This is my first time teaching in the United States and I am happy to be here and being part of the Wilson High School family.  I am a past graduate of Bawku Senior High School in the Upper East Region of Ghana. I hold a Bachelor of Special Education and English Language, and a Master of Philosophy in Special Education from the University of Education, Winneba in Ghana. Prior to pursuing my Academic Degrees, I attended Tumu Teacher Training College to obtain a 3-Year Post Secondary Teachers' Certificate "A". This certificate program has offered me a great opportunity to gather my first teaching experiences. In all these years that I have been teaching, I hold the belief that there is no one "best" way to teach. I am always of the view that I still have a lot to learn. While I am deeply appreciative of the encouraging words I have received from former students at the various levels that I taught, I am never completely satisfied with a course, even if all the objectives measured are achieved. I feel I need to be constantly evolving as a teacher. If you notice that your child is having any difficulty in my class, please reach out to me via email aagamboka@fsd1.org.
