Mrs. Lacey Hollman

My name is Lacey Hollman. I have been teaching for 12 years. I received my B.S degree in Early Childhood from Francis Marion, my M.Ed in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, my M.Ed add-on in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University, and my Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University.

Over the years, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade math. I have spent the majority of my teaching career in first grade, with a recent move back into the kindergarten classroom.

I have served on several school committees, team committees, served as a grade-level chairperson for several years, and as a mentor teacher.

I believe my number one role, as an educator, is to love my students.  My hope is that each day, in some way, I will show all my kids that I love them and believe in them.  I feel it is so important to build a relationship with each child who comes into my classroom and to earn their trust and respect.  When a relationship has been built between the students and myself, they will soar academically.
