Meet The Teacher

My Name is Nadine Rankine-Green. I am so excited this year to teach Kindergarten at Brockington Elementary School. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I attended Shortwood Teachers' College in Kingston Jamaica where I graduated with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. I hold a bachelors degree in Primary Education at Catholic College in Jamaica. I am now completing my Masters in Early Childhood Education at Walden University in the United States of America. 

I have been teaching for over eighteen years in Elementary Education. I taught for fifteen years in Jamaica and three years and eight months in the United States of America. My objective as a teacher is to be a productive teacher who will make a valid contribution to an institution's growth and development, through efficient and effective execution of job responsibilities.

My philosophy of education is that every child can learn and every child must learn. I believe that children should be exposed to a stimulating environment where they can develop holistically. It is my desire to create this type of environment where students can learn and develop cognitively, socially, physically and emotionally. I enjoy traveling, reading and meeting new people.
