My name is Christina Dimmery and I teach second grade at Carver Elementary. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Francis Marion University. What I love most about teaching are the students. We as teachers have one of the most important jobs of all. We build, shape, guide, and love our students. We want our students to be the best individuals that they can be. Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I want my students to remember me like I remember my amazing teachers growing up. The joy of being in the classroom with my students and watching them grow is what I love most about teaching. I am excited and ready to start this new school year with you!
