Hello! My name is Ms. Becote and I am the Media Specialist at Henry Timrod Elementary School! I am a native of Pamplico, SC and graduated from Hannah- Pamplico High. I attended Francis Marion University, and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities! I also attended the University of South Carolina and earned a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science.

I began teaching in 2008 at North Vista Elementary School.  In 2013, I began my career as a Media Specialist at Timrod Elementary School.  I am excited about working with the faculty/staff, the students, and community members at Timrod!

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, and collecting vinyl records.
