My name is Jill Russell.  I am the Read to Succeed Literacy Coach at Delmae Heights Elementary School. Each day presents new and exciting challenges. I LOVE this job!!

    Prior to accepting this position, I taught first grade, second grade and third grade. In 2006, I completed my Master’s Degree in Creative Arts in Learning.  Most recently I finished my coursework to obtain the R2S Literacy Teacher endorsement.

    I have been at Delmae Heights Elementary School for the majority of my career.

    I am originally from Sandy Hook, Connecticut where I was born and raised.  I attended college in upstate New York at the State University of New York at Oswego where I majored in Elementary Education.  I reside in Florence with my family. 

    I truly enjoy my profession, and look forward to educating your child.  Children are a wonderful gift, and I feel fortunate to work alongside their teachers in the classroom to support and teach them.
