Hi everyone! My name is Amanda Mooney. I am excited about this school year and my year at Williams Middle School. This is my 2nd year teaching 7th grade science and working at Wilson Middle School. Previously, I worked in Dorchester, Greenville, and Spartanburg counties teaching 6th and 8th grade science. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina in Middle Level Science and Social Studies, a masters degree in secondary education from Grand Canyon University, and an add-on in ESOL from the University of South Carolina. Teaching and working with students is one of my greatest passions in life. My goal is to help students become self-confident by maximizing their full potential both in and outside of the classroom by creating engaging, fun, exciting, and real world experiences through science. During this school year, I hope to build relationships, inspire students in life, and have a productive year.
