Hola! My family and I moved to Florence a few years ago from South Florida. My husband, originally from Venezuela, and I have two children. I am bilingual in English and Spanish thanks to my parents. They both immigrated from Cuba and I was mainly raised in Miami. I graduated from Florida State University. Go Seminoles!

 

I have taught kindergarten, 2nd, 4th and 7th grades. I am certified to teach elementary and middle school in both South Carolina and Florida. Prior to moving to Florence, I completed my Read to Succeed endorsement, ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) as well as an Equity Liaison training through the school district. These programs have strengthened my passion to reach all learners and help them achieve their best!
