Hello! My name is Sydney Brown and I am your 2nd-grade teacher at Wallace Gregg Elementary! This is my third year at Wallace Gregg Elementary. I graduated in the Spring of 2020 with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. I currently live in Elgin and love my Florence commute each day! My house has been called a zoo for some time due to my love for animals. I have even more love and passion for our students here at Wallace Gregg Elementary School. I believe each student is important and more than capable of doing anything they put their minds to. Our community and school are like no other. It is a place I am comfortable to say feels like home. I cannot wait to see what this year can unlock for our students!

My Purpose Statement:  To experience growth across the board, one must make sure everyone is healthy mentally, physically, and emotionally while making healthy changes within one's life.
