Welcome to 2nd grade with Miss Avin! I am so excited about this school year with all of my wonderful kiddos! We are going to have a great year. I look forward to working with you to make sure all children have a successful learning experience this year!

This year will be my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade at LTD. I graduated in May 2020 from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, where I was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, Sigma Tau Delta, Teaching Fellows, and Teaching Children of Poverty Scholars. I am a product of Florence 1 Schools and am so excited to serve the community that fostered a love of learning in me!

I am dedicated to the success and learning of each and every child in my room and want nothing more than to encourage them to do their best every day. When they enter my room, they are capable, smart, and Outstanding, Wonderful, Learners!

I am also the Site Coordinator for LTD's Extended Day program.

When I am not teaching, I am probably at home with my fiance and our two dogs, Trooper and Stormy. I love all things Disney, the beach, and shopping!
