Welcome to 2nd Grade! I am very excited to be teaching at Briggs this year! I am eager to begin a new school year and to work with your child. I love teaching young students to help them reach new goals. I am excited to get to know you and your student this school year!

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Early Childhood Education and continued at USC for my Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy. I am a certified Literacy Teacher for grades Kindergarten through 12th. This is my tenth year teaching. I am so excited to begin a new school year with my Briggs families.

My husband and I have two children. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to the beach, cleaning, walking and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks!
