Welcome to First Grade!  My name is Cathy Hunter. I attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from Francis Marion University with a B.S in Early Childhood Education. I also received my master's degree from Cambridge College in Early Literacy and + 30 hours from Webster University in Technology Innovation.  My teaching career started at Delmae Elementary over 20 years ago. 

 As a teacher, I believe children learn differently, but all children are able to learn. This includes having a positive classroom environment, making positive connections, and believing in the potential in every single child.   

When I am not teaching my heart away,  I am enjoying family, Netflix,shopping, cooking new recipes, or relaxing in Charleston, S.C.
