My name is Tammy Herring and this is my 28th year of teaching. After graduating
from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and
Elementary Education, I began teaching mathematics. I’ve taught 6th grade, 7th
grade, 8th grade, and Algebra 1.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary
Education, and a Masters’ Degree in Remediation. I am also Middle School Math
certified, Gifted and Talented Certified, Read to Succeed certified, and have 30
hours above my Masters’ Degree.

 I live in Latta, SC and have one child, Jamison, who is 20 years old. I’m super excited about teaching your child
this upcoming school year.

I love teaching, especially math. However, my main goal is to keep your child safe
and healthy. My number one priority is to keep us all Covid free. Please know
that I will be doing everything possible to keep my classroom sanitized for your
child’s safety.
