Welcome to 6th Grade Science! I am excited to be teaching 6th grade science at Southside Middle School. I have been teaching middle school science for 29 years in several different districts across the state. I have my BS in School Guidance Counseling from Presbyterian College, My MAT in Teaching from Columbia Bible College, and my M. Ed. In Administration from Grand Canyon University. I earned my teacher certification in Teaching Online from Clemson University last spring. I worked for the SC Department of Education for two years as a Teacher Specialist in Science. My goal as a science teacher is to encourage a lifetime sense of curiosity and wonder about the world in our students. I want to help them develop their critical thinking skills and be able to effectively incorporate the use of technology.
