Mrs. Kemberlyn Smith

Hello Wilson Tiger Family!

Welcome to a new and exciting school year of Enhance Learning! My name is Kemberlyn Smith. This is my 4th year teaching in Florence School District One. I received my Bachelors in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University. I received my Masters in Executive Educational Leadership from Gardner and Webb University.

I believe all students can learn with the right support system. I am honored to be working with your child this year and excited about all the new possibilities.I am honored to be teaching your child. I look forward to working with you this year. I truly believe that parents or adults who play a preponderant educational role in the lives of young people, are special people. When it comes to thinking about the future and making decisions, children, even if they do not show it, are very attentive to the support and opinion of their parents, hoping that they will listen to their dreams and ideas, giving great importance to their reactions.

Your child's educational growth depends largely on good classroom behavior and paying attention in class. Therefore, your child is expected to follow a few reasonable rules so that everyone can learn and make progress. If your child chooses to break these rules, then he or she is choosing the consequences that follow. I strongly believe that every child has the right to learn and that those who choose not to should not prevent others from learning. Your support and helping maintain a positive behavior is greatly appreciated.

Given the influential role of parents in building their children's success, I feel it is imperative to keep an open dialog of communication between the teacher and parent. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have.
