My name is China Washington and I am honored to be your child's 7th grade Life Science teacher. This is my 3rd year teaching 7th grade science. I was born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina and a graduate of Hartsville High School in 2013. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the ILLUSTRIOUS South Carolina State University. While teaching in the education field was not my first career choice, however it has become my greatest PASSION! While pursing my teaching career I later recieved my Master of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Education at Grand Canyon University. I am currently seeking my third degree in Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction to better serve the students of our FUTURE! As I continue my teaching journey I look forward to building initiatives to help children achieve their full potential in science by creating learning expereinces inside and outside the classroom. May this school year be the most engaging, inspiring, rewarding, and memorable year as we learn and grow together!
