Welcome to Sixth Grade Math. I am looking forward to meeting each of you and having a fantastic year!

I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Maryland. My family moved to South Carolina when I was in middle school. I graduated from the University of South Carolina, so I'm a big Gamecock fan! My areas of certification include: Elementary, Middle Level Math, High School Commerce, and I am Highly Qualified in Middle Level Math. I have taught in both elementary and high school.

I have seven children--two boys and five girls (one set of twins), and I have seven little grandsons and one little grandaughter.  I also have two little dogs - Hershey and Mocha. I love Carolina football and baseball. I love working in my yard and spending time with my family...and of course, teaching math!
