After graduating from The Citadel, I served on active duty in the US Army from 1985-1987. Then, I worked in a sales job for six years, while continuing to serve in the Army Reserve, before going back to college to earn certification as a secondary social studies teacher. Since 1992, I've taught almost every social studies course that is offered in the South Carolina curriculum, from seventh grade to twelfth grade. This is my thirtieth year as a classroom teacher.  I hope to assist the students and parents of Florence One Schools in any way that I can.
