Ms. Platz is originally from Pennsylvania where she obtained her degree in Middle Level Science Education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. While at Clarion, she became a member of Phi Sigma Sigma and will continue persuing her sorority's core values of lifelong learning, inclusiveness, and leadership through service. She is active with the school's 4-H program and you may find her behind the concession stand supporting the Sneed Squires! You know you have walked into her room when you see the many types of animals in her room! She currently has four fish, a frog, a fire belly newt, a bearded dragon, and at times an incubator full of eggs. She encourages her students not only to bring questions, but anything science related to share with the class.
