Mrs. Flynn was born in Hartsville, SC.  She is a graduate of McBee High School in McBee, SC.  She is an University of South Carolina graduate where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education.   Within her 32 years of teaching, she has taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third grades. Mrs. Flynn is married to Bill Flynn, she has two children that attended Delmae and two grandchildren.

Teaching is a lifelong  process of learning about new concepts and new strategies, learning from the parents and community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the children. Children have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the joys, the innocence, and the diversity of ideas in the world. Because of this, I will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children.
