Sr. E. I. Bowen

Hello, my name is Earl Bowen and this year I am teaching Spanish CP2. I graduated from the Lilian Dewar College of Education for secondary school teachers having successful completed my pedagogical studies. I specialized in English, and Spanish as a second language. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring Spanish language and literature, and a minor in French Language at the University of Guyana.

I taught in Guyana and The Bahamas, and have had the experience teaching Spanish in elementary, Spanish and French in middle and high schools, and also Spanish conversation at tertiary level. As a native speaker of English, my direct contact with the Spanish language and culture was in Venezuela.

This is my second year working in the United States of America and at Wilson High School. I love speaking and teaching foreign languages and look forward to another great year as I aim to put my students first.
