    ANNOUNCEMENT!!- Sneed Baseball

    Our baseball game at East Clarendon has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 23rd, at 11:00 AM. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.


    ANNOUNCEMENT!!- Sneed Cheerleading

    There will be an Informational Meeting for those students who are interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Sneed Middle School Cheerleading Team. The meeting will take place on Thursday, March 28th, 2019, 6:00 PM in the Sneed Gymnasium. If there are any questions, contact Coach Mason, Director of Athletics.


    In celebration of a fantastic 2018-2019 sports campaign, Sneed Athletics will be having its second annual Athletics Awards Banquet on Tuesday April 16th, 6:00 PM, in the Sneed Gymnasium. Every student-athlete who participated on a Sneed Middle School sports team during this school year (Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Baseball) is encouraged to attend.


    • NOTE: Every student-athlete is allowed to invite a MAXIMUM of two guests. RSVP Letters will be distributed and returned NO LATER THAN Friday, April 5th, 2019

    ANNOUNCEMENT- Sneed Baseball

    Our Baseball Squires will be participating in the 10th Annual Rawtown Rumble Baseball Tournament, beginning on Thursday, March 7th, at Arrowhead Park, in Cheraw, SC. Our Squires will participate in Round Robin Play that Thursday, with game times at 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM. Come support our Squires!!

    ANNOUNCEMENT- Sneed Soccer

    Our Thursday, March 21st match against Hartsville Middle School will be played at Byerly Park, instead of at Hartsville High School. An updated schedule is now available on the soccer teams' homepage,


    This is reminder that students are allowed to use the Athletic Carline ONLY IF you are playing a sport at West Florence High School OR if you are on the Sneed Baseball team. Also, you MUST HAVE an Athletic Carline Pass, which MUST BE VISIBLE ON YOUR DASHBOARD AT PICKUP. This will be monitored closely. Any student-athletes who need an Athletic Carline Pass should see Mr. Mason in Room 207.

    For all prospective Sneed Middle School student-athletes: ArbiterAthlete provides an efficient way to add necessary athletic forms online (sports physicals, etc.) for student-athlete eligibility.     We had a very successful Fall session of our Golf Squad program. It is almost time for the Spring session of our Golf Squad program at Sneed!! There are openings still available.     ANNOUNCEMENT- Sneed Basketball

    The 2019 Pee Dee Conference Postseason Tournament will be held Tuesday February 5th- Thursday February 7th, 2019, at Dillon Middle School, in Dillon, SC. Information on game times will be announced at a later date.

    When picking up athletes for conditioning in the Athletic Carline, make sure your Athletic Carline Pass is VISIBLE in your dashboard. This will be closely monitored.

    Thanks to all of the students who participated in an exciting Fall session of the Golf Squad program!! There are still openings available for the Spring session. Just go to the Golf Squad page (located in the Athletics directory) and click on the Golf Squad link for more information.

     ANNOUNCEMENT- Sneed Basketball

    The 2018-2019 Sneed Basketball Schedule of Games is ready!! A printable version is available on the Basketball team page, in the Athletics Directory. Click on the Schedule link in the left corner of the page.




    There is now a page available to print Parent Permission Forms and Physical Forms. To access it, go to Sneed's homepage, www.f1s.org/sneed, click on the Athletics tab, and look for the Physical Forms homepage in the Athletics Directory.



    During athletic events, we ask that spectators remain in the bleachers, so no one's view will be obstructed. There will be NO STANDING allowed on the fences, sidelines, etc. during athletic events. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.




    ANNOUNCEMENT!!- Athletic Car Line

    There will be an Athletic Car Line available this year. It will be located at the mobile units, by the Gymnasium entrance.

    NOTE: The Athletic Car Line will be available ONLY to Sneed students who play JV or Varsity sports at West Florence High School. To obtain an Athletic Car Line Pass, you must speak to Coach Mason.


     ANNOUNCEMENT- Golf Squad at Sneed

    Golf Squad at At Sneed is an exciting program that teaches new students, as well as experienced players, the skills necessary to play the game of golf (vocabulary, rules, etiquette, etc.). Golf Squad classes are taught by PGA professionals. For more information, you can go to this website:

    ANNOUNCEMENT!!- Sneed Football

    The 2018 Sneed Football schedule is now ready! To view a printable copy, click on the Athletics tab on Sneed's homepage, click on the Football team page, and click on the Schedule link on the left side of the page.









    If you are attending our sporting events, we ask that you do not stand (along the fence, on the sidelines, etc) so you do not obstruct the view of other spectators. Thank you for your support and understanding.




    Insurance forms are available on the Green and Gold Review Page, in the event of injuries requiring an insurance claim.




    There has been a printable Parent Permission Form added to the Green and Gold Review page. In addition to the required physical form, this permission form must be signed before a student partcipates in any athletic activity at Sneed. If there are any questions, contact Coach Mason.



    We want our students, parents, and our supporters to have a pleasant, enjoyable experience at Sneed Middle School's sporting events. We must all do our part to ensure these events are safe and family-friendly. As a primer, there is a printable copy of our rules and policies regarding our sporting events. Go to the Green and Gold Review section, and click on the link, "Rules and Policies- Sneed's Sporting Events", to print a copy for yourself. If there are any questions, you may contact Coach Mason.






    All students who wish to participate in any athletic activities at Sneed Middle School (conditioning sessions, tryouts, etc.) MUST have a completed, updated physical form. All physical forms must be dated AFTER April 1st, 2018. Printable copies of the physical form are available on the Physical Form page, under the Athletics section.


    There has been a special emphasis placed on the impact of concussions in athletes of all ages. The safety, health, and well-being of our student-athletes is, and always will be, a primary concern. For parents who want to know the facts about concussions (the definition, symptoms, protocol for resting and monitoring athletes, etc.), there is a section attached to the Green and Gold Review, under the Athletics section. Just click on the page, "Concussions- A Parents' Guide", and print the information sheet.
