For those 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in joining the 2022 Sneed Boys' Soccer team:

Tryouts will begin on Tuesday, February 1st, 4:00 PM at Sneed Stadium, on our Football/Soccer field.

 NOTE: You MUST have a signed, completed Physical Form (dated AFTER April 1st, 2021) that must be entered into the PlanetHS website in order to participate in tryouts. The Physical Forms are available in our Athletics Directory, on the Physicals homepage. For more information on PlanetHS, you can visit our PlanetHS informational page, also located in our Athletics Directory.

Sports Physicals will be given at the Doctors Care facility, located on 2410 Hoffmeyer Road in Florence. During June and July, physicals are only $20.00!!

ANNOUNCEMENT!!- Sports Physicals

Attention, all potential Sneed Middle School student-athletes:

If you are interested in playing sports at Sneed Middle School for this school year, NOW IS THE TIME to complete your Physical Form in order to participate in any activities. There is a printable copy of the Physical Form located in our Athletics Directory, on the Physicals page. Make sure EVERY SECTION of the Physical Form is FULLY COMPLETED.

ANNOUNCEMENT!! PlanetHS Information

ATTENTION, ALL RISING 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENT-ATHLETES:

Beginning in May, 2020, all student-athletes participating in Sneed Middle School Athletics (for Conditioning, Practices, Tryouts, etc.) will be REQUIRED to create a PlanetHS account to upload all relevant information BEFORE participation.

All Physicals for the new sports year must be dated AFTER May 1st, 2020.

REMINDER!!

During athletic events, we ask that spectators remain in the bleachers, so no one's view will be obstructed. There will be NO STANDING allowed on the fences, sidelines, etc. during athletic events. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We want our students, parents, and our supporters to have a pleasant, enjoyable experience at Sneed Middle School's sporting events. We must all do our part to ensure these events are safe and family-friendly. As a primer, there is a printable copy of our rules and policies regarding our sporting events. Go to the Green and Gold Review section, and click on the link, "Rules and Policies- Sneed's Sporting Events", to print a copy for yourself.

 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

There has been a special emphasis placed on the impact of concussions in athletes of all ages. The safety, health, and well-being of our student-athletes is, and always will be, a primary concern. For parents who want to know the facts about concussions (the definition, symptoms, protocol for resting and monitoring athletes, etc.), there is a section attached to the Green and Gold Review, under the Athletics section. Just click on the page, "Concussions- A Parents' Guide", and print the information sheet.
