Dear Parents/Guardians:

Greetings!  I would like to take this time to introduce myself to you.  My name is Angie Branton and I am your child’s school counselor.  

Our guidance program is designed to address the needs of all student by helping them to be aware of their strengths, to learn how to solve their own problems, to adjust to their present environment, and to plan realistically for their future to realize their fullest potential. 

Through classroom visits, small groups, and individual activities, the school counselor can help students improve their self-concept and peer relations.  Parents, teachers, or administration may refer students if they feel there are concerns.

I look forward to working with your child or children here at Briggs.
