Hello! My name is Susan Bigham and I teach 3rd grade at Timrod Elementary. I have been teaching since 2012 and I truly believe that I have the best job ever! I grew up in Elgin, SC, a small town near Columbia. I attended Francis Marion University where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently attending Coastal Carolina University where I am working on my Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I am happily married and have three sweet fur babies. I enjoy going to the movies and cooking with my husband. I absolutely love to read and love to instill that love for reading in my students. I have a passion for teaching and am so lucky to have a job that I love.
