My name is Shelly Flud and this is my 21st year of teaching.  I began my career in August of 2002. I taught two years of fourth grade and twelve years of fifth grade. Math has been my area of concentration for about the last 12 years. This is my 7th year at Moore; here I taught 4 years of 6th grade, 1 year of 7th, and 1 year of 8th Grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1!!!

When I was in kindergarten and my teachers asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said "a teacher."  I am fulfilling my goal and am loving every minute of it.

I earned a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. I also achieved National Board Certification in 2007 and achieved National Board Recertification in 2016. I achieved certification in Middle Level Math and Secondary Math in 2019. I earned my Gifted and Talented Endorsement in the Spring of 2021.

I am married and have two precious little girls. I am looking forward to this school year with your precious children.
