Welcome to Moore! My name is Ms. Adams and this year I will be teaching 8th grade math here at John W. Moore Middle School.  I am currently in my 24th year of education.  I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades at Timrod Elementary School, served as the Math Coach at North Vista Elementary School, taught 5th grade math here at Moore, and served as the Math Interventionist here at Moore.

I was born and raised here in Florence, South Carolina. Growing up I attended Greenwood Elementary School, Southside Middle School, and South Florence High School (Go Bruins!).  During my senior year of high school, I was a Teacher Cadet and this is when my love for teaching was discovered.

Upon graduating high school, I attended Francis Marion University where I majored in Elementary Education.  I graduated from Francis Marion University in 1999 and have been teaching ever since.  I also have a masters degree in Educational Leadership from the Arkansas State University and I am middle level certified in math. I love teaching and truly believe that every child deserves to prosper and grow during their educational journey.

I have two WONDERFUL children that are my pride and joy! I also have one dog.

I enjoy watching football, swimming, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.  I am a fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks.  GO COCKS!
