My name is Klay Ross.  I grew up in Florence and attended Florence District One schools.  I graduated from West Florence.  I went to Francis Marion University and graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education.  My first four years of teaching were spent in Florence District Three in traditional first grade and kindergarten.  In 2006, I came to Florence District One and began working at McLaurin Elementary.  I became AMS Early Childhood Montessori certified and taught one year of 1st and 2nd Montessori then moved down to primary Montessori, which is 3K, 4K, and 5K.  I have been teaching that ever since! 

My name is Mrs. Mimosa Dias. I grew up in India and completed my education there. I have been at McLaurin since 2010. I have assisted with the extended day program when we had 3 and 4 year olds, with the elementary 2nd-4th grades, and now in the primary class with 3K, 4K, and 5K.
